How Bark screens your leads

We check every request before sending it to you, so you only receive genuine enquiries. This article explains the checks we carry out and what they mean for the leads you see.

What we check

Contact details

We review email addresses and phone numbers, and ask customers to verify them where possible. Leads with unverified or suspicious contact information are filtered out before they reach you.

Intent to hire

Customers answer a short set of questions when submitting a request, so we can confirm they are actively looking for a professional — not just browsing. This reduces speculative or uncommitted enquiries.

Request quality

We automatically filter out duplicate, incomplete, or suspicious requests. If a submission doesn't meet our quality threshold, it won't be sent on to professionals.

Location coverage

We block requests from areas where Bark does not currently operate, so you won't receive leads that fall outside your coverage zone.

What this means for you

Most low-quality enquiries are filtered out before they reach you, so you can focus your time and credits on real opportunities.

⚠️ If something doesn't look right: report the lead and our team will review it. If it doesn't meet our standards, we'll return your credits.
