At Bark, we're committed to ensuring a safe and secure environment for all users. Despite our best efforts to monitor and moderate content through automated detection and human review, illegal content may still appear on our platform.

What is illegal content?

Illegal content covers activities that violate laws and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to:

Type Examples
Financial crime Fraud or financial scams
Harmful behavior Hate, harassment, and discrimination
Illegal trading Drug or weapon sales

How to report illegal content

  1. Review your local police guidelines to determine whether the content should also be reported to law enforcement.
  2. Submit your report via our reporting form

How we assess reports

Once submitted, we'll review your report and any supporting information within 7 days. Based on our review, we may:

  • Remove or suspend accounts where illegal content is found
  • Remove or restrict content on our platform
  • Issue written warnings
