Every Bark lead clearly shows the credit cost before you respond, so you always know what you're paying upfront.
What affects the price?
| Factor | How does it affect cost |
| Service type | Specialist services typically cost more than general ones |
| Job size and scope | A larger or more complex job costs more than a smaller one |
| Location | Leads in high-demand areas may cost more |
| Customer engagement | A customer ready to hire may cost more than one still researching |
Lead signals
When browsing leads, you'll see signals that indicate the quality and urgency of each lead:
| Signal | What it means |
| High hiring intent | The customer is actively ready to hire—a high-value lead |
| Urgent | The customer needs someone to respond quickly |
| 1st to respond | No other professional has contacted this customer yet |
| Verified phone | The customer's phone number has been verified |
| 💡 Leads with strong signals tend to convert better — they're worth prioritizing. |
Example
A lead for a one-time clean of a 2-bedroom flat will cost fewer credits than a weekly clean of a 4-bedroom house because the job is larger and more valuable.
