How to Report
1. Reporting under the EU Digital Services Act
Ireland's Digital Services Coordinator, Coimisiún na Meán, awards formal "trusted flagger" status under the DSA to vetted organizations with relevant expertise. Bark also treats reports from these official bodies as a |prioriy:
a) An Garda Síochána (Irish police);
b) the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC);
c) the Central Bank of Ireland; and
d) any organization formally designated as a trusted flagger by Coimisiún na Meán under Article 22 of the DSA.
2. Submit a report
- Email: legalteam@bark.com
- Clearly specify the violation type (e.g., fraud)
- Include supporting evidence (screenshots, communication records, URLs)
3. Review process
- Reports from recognized authorities are prioritized in our Escalations Queue
- Our team reviews and takes appropriate action within 7 days
4. Possible outcomes
- Immediate removal of illegal or harmful content
- Investigation into flagged professionals or buyers
- Potential account suspensions or bans if serious violations are confirmed
- Escalation to law enforcement where necessary
