Why was my Bark request rejected?

Bark automatically checks every request before it goes live. If yours was rejected, it's usually down to one of the reasons below — and most are resolved in minutes.

Reason What to do
Name too short or unclear Use your full first name — abbreviated entries may be flagged
Duplicate request You may have already submitted the same request — wait a few hours before trying again
Invalid contact details Your email or phone number may be incorrect or unrecognised — double-check and resubmit
Inappropriate content Your request may contain offensive language or images — keep it respectful and clear
Location or IP mismatch Your stated location may not match your IP address — make sure your location details are correct
Too many requests Repeated rapid submissions trigger our safety checks — wait before trying again, and avoid multiple accounts

Ready to resubmit?

Review the table above and resubmit your request using the tips given — most rejections are successfully resolved on the next attempt.

If you no longer need the service, you can close your request here: help.bark.com/hc/en-gb/articles/27590562678044-How-to-close-a-Bark-request

Note: Once a request has been declined, it cannot be edited or made live. A new submission will need to be placed.
