What is the customer picks model and how does it work?

This change will give customers the freedom to contact professionals directly, leading to stronger connections and more meaningful interactions. We believe this shift will create a smoother experience for customers and drive higher satisfaction for dedicated professionals.

The "Customer Picks" model will enable customers to connect directly with professionals of their choice, allowing them to initiate contact via email, phone call, or even make a booking.

Initially, customers will only be able to reach out through email or phone, but we're working on adding a booking feature that will allow customers to schedule appointments directly in your calendar.

When a customer visits Bark, instead of completing a Q&A form and posting their request online, they will be presented with a list of professionals. Professionals will be ranked based on their profile quality and review ratings, allowing customers to browse and evaluate professionals before deciding who to contact directly.

To improve your ranking, professionals can update their profiles to improve their attractiveness to buyers.
