When you get hired by a customer you meet through Bark, all the money you make is yours to keep.

Remember, we have no involvement in payment. This is entirely between yourself and the customer.

We strongly recommend you mark that lead as ‘hired’. Our customers love to see how many times a professional has been ‘hired’, so make sure you’re showing this to them.

After reporting a review, it temporarily disappears from public view.

Your report will then be reviewed by our team. 

If our team concludes the report is justified, the review will remain invisible.

If our team does not conclude the report is justified, the review will be reinstated and become visible to customers.

As with any review system, customers are entitled to their opinion and are allowed to post reviews. 

We don’t remove reviews because they are negative – this would not make for a fair review system. 

We recommend that you reply to all reviews posted on your Bark profile, whether positive or negative. For instructions on how to reply to reviews, click here

We do have a “Report” feature. This may be used in specific scenarios, for example, duplicate reviews or reviews containing inappropriate language.

You can link your Bark profile to existing reviews on Facebook by entering in your Facebook page details in Social media & web links.

Having reviews on your Bark profile is very important. Even just one 5 star review makes you 3 times more likely to get hired over a professional with no reviews.

To add reviews to your Bark profile, simply send the customer a link to your public profile and the option to leave a review will be available.

Alternatively, once hired by a customer, you can set the status on the lead to ‘Hired’ in My Responses. Setting this status gives you the option to directly invite the customer to leave a review on your Bark profile.

You can link your Bark profile to reviews which you already have on Facebook by entering in your Facebook page details in Social media and web links.

We also highly recommend adding the Bark reviews badge to your website as it allows anyone visiting your website to read all about you.
