We've introduced this feature to try to give buyers a better understanding of the quotes they can expect to receive.
It's designed to learn what quotes are "normal" based on the questions the buyer has answered and previous quotes we've received from Bark professionals like yourself. We never put in any information ourselves.
In most cases, the estimates are pretty accurate. However, there are occasions where it can look a bit wide of the mark.
Budget Estimator does try to take into account the answers a Buyer has given. However, on some occasions, we may not have enough other Barks with the same answers to give an accurate quote.
In these cases the system ignores certain questions, working backwards until it has sufficient data to make an assessment. This too can occasionally lead to an estimate looking like it doesn't quite take into account all the questions.
Of course, you are welcome to quote whatever it is that you normally would. This is just a guide to let the buyer know the sort of quotes previous users received on our platform
